  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 2 Tbsp. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water and 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. milk (scalded and cooled to lukewarm)
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. soft shortening
  • 2 eggs
