Wild Rice Bread

- 1 1/2 c. cooked wild rice
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 1/2 c. water, boiled and cooled
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Potato Buds
- 7 to 8 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Use a warm bowl and mix the 2 1/2 cups water, yeast mixture, brown sugar, molasses, butter, salt, Potato Buds and 2 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Add wild rice and enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on a floured board and knead for 10 minutes.

3Place dough in greased bowl and let rise until doubled or 2 hours. Divide into 4 parts. Form into loaves and place in well-greased pans. Bake 30 to 35 minutes in a 350° oven.

4Cool on wire rack.

5This is especially good with cheese whip and olives.
