  • Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice (not seasoning)
  • 1/2 lb. sausage (half mild and half hot)
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can Pet milk or 1 soup can milk
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced thin
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. slivered almonds

Directions

    Cook rice until almost done according to box directions.

    Fry sausage.

    Add butter.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Add more milk if not moist enough.

    Cook 45 minutes at 350°.
