  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. wild rice
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 diced green pepper
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can mushrooms with juice
  • 3 oz. soy sauce
  • 1 small can water chestnuts
  • 3 c. water

Directions

    Brown onions, pepper and ground beef.

    Do not season.

    Add soup, mushrooms and juice, soy sauce, water chestnuts and water. Wash wild rice and drain.

    Mix with other ingredients.

    Place in casserole.

    A few cashews may be sprinkled on top.

    Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
