Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. ham, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. low-fat milk
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken stock
  • 1 lb. diced, cooked potatoes
  • 1 c. wild rice, cooked until begins to pop open
  • 1 jar Old English cheese spread
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute ham, mushrooms, onion and garlic.

    Add flour, milk and chicken stock.

    Cook about 15 minutes.

    Add cooked potatoes, rice, cheese spread and pepper.

    Cook until bubbly.
