- 1/2 cup wild rice, uncooked
- 1/2 cup brown rice, uncooked
- 3 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried whole basil
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in toasted pine nuts and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer an additional 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
