- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 7 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/3 cup warm water.

2Add 2 cups of water, salt, egg, sugar and shortening.

3Put flour as needed, about 7 cups.

4Spread mixture on floured board.

5Knead dough until smooth and elastic.

6Place in oiled bowl, turning to oil surface.

7Cover with damp cloth.

8Place in refrigerator until needed.

9Shape dough into rolls.

10Place on greased baking pan.

11Let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk.

12Bake in 375° oven for 10 to 25 minutes. Yield: 24 rolls.
