- 2 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 tsp. dried dill weed
- 1 (8 oz.) carton plain yogurt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
Directions

1Grease an 8-inch tube pan.

2In a large bowl, stir together 1 cup flour, yeast and dill weed; set aside.

3In medium saucepan, heat and stir the yogurt, sugar, water, butter and salt just until warm (120° to 130°) and butter almost melts.

4Add to flour mixture. Add egg.

5Beat with electric mixer on low to medium for 30 seconds, scraping sides of bowl. Beat on high for 3 minutes. Stir in remaining flour.

6Spoon batter into pan. Cover and let rise, about 30 minutes. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.

7Makes 1 loaf.
