Yogurt Dinner Rolls

- 1 c. plain low-fat yogurt
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tsp. basil
- 2 Tbsp. onion, grated
Directions

1In saucepan, heat together yogurt, margarine, water and sugar until margarine is melted.

2Set aside and let cool to lukewarm. In large bowl, combine yeast, 3/4 cup white flour, 3/4 cup whole wheat flour and baking soda.

3Add cooled liquid mixture to yeast-flour mixture; then add eggs, spices and grated onion.

4Beat at low speed with electric mixer for 30 seconds.

5Beat 3 minutes at high speed.

6Stir in 1/2 cup white flour and 3/4 cup whole wheat flour.

7Dough will still be moist and a

8little sticky. Place in a bowl sprayed with vegetable cooking spray, turning once.

9Cover with a towel or plastic wrap.

10Let rise until double, about 1 1/2 hours.

11Place on floured board and knead lightly. Divide into 12 even pieces; form into round balls and place into muffin tins sprayed with vegetable cooking spray.

12Cover; let rise about 40 minutes.

13Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes or until nicely browned.

14Remove from muffin tins immediately.

15Serve hot or at room temperature.
