- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients twice.

2Break egg into dry ingredients, combine milk and water and add a little at a time to dry ingredients.

3Beat smoothly until like thick cream.

4Let stand 1 hour.

5Put a dessert spoon of fat into a 9-inch square pan.

6Heat fat in pan until hot at 450°.

7Pour mixture into hot fat and bake for 20 minutes.

8Serve immediately.
