  • 1 small head lettuce, chopped
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 small box frozen peas (don't thaw)
  • 1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 c. broccoli, chopped (if desired)
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. salad dressing
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, browned and crumbled
  • 1/2 c. sharp shredded cheese

    the lettuce, celery, onion, peas, water chestnuts and broccoli. Cover

    mayonnaise and 1 cup salad dressing

    Use 2 cups mayonnaise or

    salad dressing, mix sugar in and salt and pepper to taste. Layer

    lettuce on bottom of dish; spread to edge of dish.
