Acorn Squash

  • 2 medium sized acorn squash
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Cut squash in half and scrape out seeds.

    Rinse.
  3. 3
    Rub inside of squash with margarine stick.
  4. 4
    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Turn cut side down on cookie sheet and bake in a moderate (350°) oven until baked and easily pierced with a fork (approximately 1/2 hour).

    Remove from oven, scrape out of skin and mash with butter.
