  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • 5 Tbsp. Grape-Nuts
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla in mixing bowl.

    Add scalded milk gradually, mixing thoroughly.

    Pour into six custard cups or 1 1/2-quart casserole.

    Sprinkle with Grape-Nuts.

    Dot with butter.

    Place custard cups or casserole in pan of hot water. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
