- 3/4 c. corn meal
- 2 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1/4 c. light molasses
- 3 Tbsp. oleo or oil
Directions

1Use less flour if part of flour is whole wheat.

2Combine corn meal, water and salt, stirring to prevent lumps.

3Boil.

4Add molasses and oleo; cool.

5Soften yeast in water.

6Add 1 cup flour to corn meal mixture.

7Stir in yeast.

8Add flour to make soft dough; knead.

9Let rise until double.

10Punch down; shape into 2 loaves.

11Let rise.

12Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
