- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 egg yolks (unbeaten)
- 1/2 c. sour cream
Directions

1Cut the margarine into flour as for pie dough.

2With a fork, mix together the egg yolks, sour cream and vanilla.

3With your hands, form a firm dough.

4Cover and refrigerate overnight. Divide dough into 4 equal parts, working with one piece at a time; roll out thin on a floured bread board.

5Cut into 2-inch squares and cut a slot in the center.

6Bake in a 350° oven on ungreased cookie sheet 10 to 15 minutes.

7Bake only until light brown. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
