Apple Cranberry Pie

- 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. quick cooking tapioca
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 tsp. grated orange peel
- 3 c. sliced sweet apples
Directions

1In saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, tapioca, water and orange peel.

2Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.

3Remove from heat and stir in apples.

4Cool.

5Pour into unbaked pastry shell that has been coated with 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 cup sugar mixed together.

6Top with uncooked pastry or lattice strips of pastry.

7If using a full top crust, cut a few slits in top crust. Slice a few slices of margarine and place on top and sprinkle sugar over top.

8Bake at 375° for about 50 minutes.
