  • 4 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup apple chopped
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup dates

Directions

    Combine oats, walnuts, raisins, and salt in a bowl and mix well.

    In a separate container combine water and vanilla. Combine all ingredients, stirring gently.

    Pour into oiled 8- by 8-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Stir in dates and serve.
