Ingredients

  • 3 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large sweet onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 Tbsp. cumin
  • dash of chili powder
  • 1 large can refried beans
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans enchilada sauce (mild)
  • 1 small can V-8 spicy hot
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 glass jars Heinz brown gravy
  • 1/2 head lettuce
  • 3 or 4 large tomatoes
  • 10 to 14 extra large flour tortillas
  • 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 lb. grated Colby cheese

Directions

    Brown together first 3 ingredients.

    Add next 3 ingredients. In saucepan, heat enchilada sauce, V-8 juice, tomato sauce and brown gravy.

    Chop up lettuce and tomatoes.

    Spread meat mixture on tortillas; add a little chopped lettuce and tomatoes and roll up. Place in a large baking dish or roasting pan and cover with heated sauce.

    Sprinkle cheeses over burritos.

    Bake at 350° until heated through.
