  • 12 slices diced bacon
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 15 1/2 oz. each: kidney beans and butter or lima beans, drained
  • 21 oz. can pork and beans

    Heat oven to 350°.

    In Dutch oven, saute bacon and onions until bacon is crisp and onions are tender.

    Drain.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Mix well.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
