Ingredients

  • 2 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 bunches green onions, chopped
  • 1 TBS minced ginger
  • 1 TBS minced garlic
  • 1/2 TBS red pepper oil
  • 1/2 TBS salt
  • 4 TBS sesame seed paste, Asian*
  • 4 TBS soy sauce
  • 1-1/2 TBS brown vinegar*
  • 4 TBS brown sugar
  • 2 TBS sesame oil
  • *found in Asian market

Directions

    Boil the chicken for 20 minutes or until done.

    Shred the chicken. Can be done in Kitchen Aid Mixer

    with paddle attachment while warm in a few minutes.

    Mix all other ingredients together except the green onions.

    Pour the sauce over the chicken and combine with the green onions.

    Serve in a bowl or on a platter at room temperature with lettuce leaves to be eaten as lettuce wrap filling or as Asian chicken salad.
