Bourbon Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. bourbon
  • 3 Tbsp. Karo or honey
  • 2 1/2 c. vanilla cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 c. finely chopped pecans
  • regular sugar (to roll balls in)

Directions

    Melt chips in double boiler until smooth.

    Stir in bourbon and Karo.

    Let cool.

    Combine crumbs, 10x sugar and nuts and add to melted chips.

    Let sit 1/2 hour.

    Shape into balls.

    Roll in regular sugar.

    Store airtight in cool place or in refrigerator.
