- 1 c. raw bran
- 1 c. old fashioned oats
- 1 1/2 c. flour (plain)
- 1/2 + packed c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. oil
- nuts, raisins, sesame seed, etc.
Directions

1Blend dry ingredients in a large bowl.

2Add eggs, oil and buttermilk; mix until moist.

3Add nuts, etc.

4Fill greased or Pam sprayed muffin cups almost full.

5Bake 17 to 20 minutes.

6Turn out on racks to cool.

7Preheat oven to 400° to 425°.

8Makes 16 to 18 muffins.
