  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. day old bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. seedless raisins

Directions

    Combine milk and eggs; pour over bread crumbs.

    Stir in remaining ingredients.

    Pour over bread crumbs.

    Pour into 1-quart baking dish; sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake in a slow oven, about 325°, for 1 hour, or until inserted knife comes out clean.
