Ingredients
- 1 loaf (10-oz.) stale French bread, broken (or 8 cups any type bread)
- 4 c. milk (or 1/2 milk, 1/2 heavy cream)
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. shredded coconut (optional)
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Combine all ingredients; mixture should be very moist but not soupy.

2Pour into buttered 9-inch by 9-inch baking dish.

3Place on middle rack of non-preheated oven.

4Bake at 350° for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, until top is golden brown.

5Serve warm with Amaretto Sauce.
