- 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried mustard
- 6 slices white bread (no crusts)
- 1 lb. bacon, sausage or ham
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- 4 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Directions

1Brown meat.

2Drain.

3Beat eggs; add salt, mustard, milk and onion.

4Break bread into chunks and add to mixture with cheese. Add meat.

5Place in casserole.

6Refrigerate overnight.

7When ready to use, take out and let stand until room temperature.

8Add topping, if desired.

9Bake casserole in a pan of water at 350° for 45 minutes.

10Serves 6.
