Brownies Loaded with Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 70 grams Chocolate
  • 30 grams Butter (unsalted)
  • 1 Egg (warmed to room temperature)
  • 30 grams Brown sugar
  • 25 grams. A) Flour
  • 6 grams A) Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 tsp A) Baking powder
  • 30 grams Walnuts

Directions

    Roast walnuts in a 140C oven for 15 minutes.

    Chop to your desired size.

    Place the chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat until melted (about 1 1/2 minutes on 700W).

    Combine the egg and brown sugar.

    Blend well with the mixture from Step 2.

    Fold in the ingredients marked (A) gently.

    Add the walnuts last.

    Pour the batter into a pan and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated 180C oven.

    Once it's cooled, remove and cut.
