  • 12 slices white bread (trim crusts)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • soft margarine and paprika

    Butter both sides of bread. Dip bread in egg

    Put on bottom of 9 x 13-inch glass dish with

    of bread (6 slices). Layer cheese on top.

    Break up remaining bread into small pieces and scatter over cheese mix.
