- 1 dash salt
Directions

1Peel squash and cut into bite sized pieces.

2Place pieces with sugar and add water to cover. Cook until nearly fork tender, add butter and continue cooking over medium heat.

3When the squash becomes tender and the moisture has almost gone, remove from heat.
