  • 1 unbaked deep dish pie shell
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring

    Melt margarine; add sugar and flour.

    Pour into pie shell and bake 45 minutes in moderate oven (325° to 350°) or until lightly golden and set.
