- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts or mixed)
Directions

1Melt butterscotch bits with butter over hot (not boiling) water.

2Remove from heat.

3Beat eggs with sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy.

4Stir in flour, salt and baking powder; beat until blended.

5Add melted butterscotch mixture, then stir in nuts.

6Pour into lightly greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

7Cool and cut into squares or bars.
