Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage
- 1/2 c. uncooked brown rice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 lb. browned ground beef or turkey
- 1 can Healthy Request tomato soup
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato puree
Directions

1Brown meat and onion.

2Drain off fat.

3Mix uncooked rice into meat.

4In a greased 2-quart casserole or 9 x 13-inch pan, place chopped cabbage.

5Top with meat and rice mixture.

6Mix soup and puree together.

7Thin with enough water to make a pourable topping. Season with desired herbs (I use basil, oregano, pepper and garlic powder).

8Pour soup mix all over the top of the casserole.

9Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

10If white rice is used, bake for 1 hour.
