Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Shred cabbage (not as fine as for slaw).

    Melt margarine in casserole dish.

    Mix corn flakes in oleo.

    Let cabbage set in cold water 3 minutes.

    Mix celery soup, milk and mayonnaise together. Pour cabbage in on corn flakes.

    Pour mixture of soup, milk and mayonnaise over cabbage.

    Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese and some corn flakes over all.

    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
