  • 4 c. crushed carambola (starfruit)
  • 7 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 pouch Certo fruit pectin

    Remove stems from fruit.

    Peel.

    Remove seeds.

    Crush. Measure fruit into a 6 or 8 quart pot.

    Measure sugar and stir into

    Bring mixture

    to a full boil over high heat.

    to a full, rolling boil for 1 minute.

    Remove from heat. Skim off foam. Pour into jars.
