Caramel Apples

  • 14 oz. pkg. (49) caramels
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 4 or 5 medium apples
  • 4 or 5 wooden sticks

Directions

    In top of double boiler or saucepan, combine caramels and water.

    Cook until melted, stirring occasionally.
  3. 3
    Insert wooden sticks into stem end of each apple.
  4. 4
    Keep caramel mixture over low heat.
  5. 5
    Dip apples into caramel mixture, turning to coat.
  6. 6
    Scrape off excess caramel mixture when removing apple from pan.
  7. 7
    Place on greased waxed paper and chill until set.
