  • 1 gal. popped corn
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. white or dark syrup (Karo is best)
  • 1 stick butter

Directions

    Boil 2 minutes.

    Take from heat.

    Add a pinch of soda and cream of tartar. Stir.

    Pour over popped corn.

    Stir well until well coated.

    Put on cookie sheets.

    Put in a 250° oven for 1 hour.

    Stir every 15 minutes.
