- 12 red potatoes (1 1/2 inches in diameter)
- salt and pepper
- 12 cup sour cream
- 1 ounce caviar (black, red and or or golden)
Directions

1In a medium saucepan, cook potatoes in boiling salted water over medium high heat until tender, 10-15 minutes.

2Drain and let cool.

3Halve potatoes.

4Cut a thin slice from the rounded bottom of each potato half so it will stand upright.

5Using a melon baller, remove center from each potato half, leaving a shell 1/4 inch thick.

6Season cavities with salt and pepper.

7Using a small spoon or a pastry bag fitted with a star tip, fill potato cavities with sour cream.

8Top each with a dab of caviar.
