  • 2 -3 tablespoons butter
  • 12 medium onion, chopped finely
  • 1 lb fresh spinach leaves
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 12 cup chopped pecans

Directions

    Saute onion in butter until carmelized.

    Add spinach and wilt for a few mintues.

    Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and cream.

    Stir until melted and blended together.

    Place cheese mixture in an oven-safe casserole dish (6 x 9).

    Top with pecans.

    Bake in 350 degree oven until browned on top and pecans toasted.
