- 1 c. butter (not oleo)
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 level Tbsp. flour
- vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 c. milk or cream
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Directions

1Cream softened butter and sugar.

2Add beaten egg yolks and flour.

3Add milk and vanilla.

4Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust.

5Cover the edge of the pie crust with foil or it will get too brown.

6Bake at 300° until the top of pie is brown, then cover complete pie with foil for 10 minutes.

7Pie should be done in 30 to 40 minutes.

8Cover with meringue.
