  • 1 c. rice (uncooked)
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 large fryer, cut into serving pieces
  • 2 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Place rice, margarine and onion soup mix into baking dish. Arrange chicken pieces on top of rice.

    Cover with water.

    Cover with foil.

    Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 375°.

    Remove foil the last 15 minutes of baking to allow chicken to brown.
