- 3 lb. ground beef (coarse ground)
- 4 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 Tbsp. chili powder
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 4 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 c. catsup
- 6 c. water
Directions

1Brown together the ground beef, cooking oil, onion and garlic. Stir in remaining ingredients.

2Mix well.

3Cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Chili is best when cooked and let cool for several hours, then heat to desired temperature.
