Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (26 ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 12 cup water
- 1 (14 ounce) can red kidney beans
- 1 (14 ounce) can black beans
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 4 bread boules (purchased)
- hot sauce or Tabasco sauce
- salt & pepper
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
Directions

1Pour Olive Oil in large saucepan, brown Ground Beef over med heat.

2Add Onion and Garlic, Cook until onion is soft (~5min).

3Add Marinara Sauce and Water.

4Bring to a boil then turn down to simmer and add Beans.

5Add salt, pepper, cumin and chili powder and simmer until mixture thickens.

6OR.
-
7Bring to a boil then transfer mixture to a Crock Pot.

8Add Beans, salt, pepper, cumin and chili powder and cook on high for 4 hours.

9Add hot sauce if desired.

10Serve in a bread bowl.

11Top with grated Cheddar Cheese.
