  • 1 1/3 sticks oleo, melted
  • 2 c. light brown sugar, packed (1 box)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/3 c. self-rising flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix sugar and melted oleo well.

    Add flour and eggs; mix well. Add vanilla and pecans and mix well.

    Pour in greased and floured pan.

    Bake for 45 minutes at 325°.

    Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting into squares.

    Makes 24 cookies.
