- 1 1/3 sticks oleo, melted
- 2 c. light brown sugar, packed (1 box)
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/3 c. self-rising flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Mix sugar and melted oleo well.

2Add flour and eggs; mix well. Add vanilla and pecans and mix well.

3Pour in greased and floured pan.

4Bake for 45 minutes at 325°.

5Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting into squares.

6Makes 24 cookies.
