  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate (4 oz.), melted
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour (can use self-rising)
  • 2 tsp. baking powder (leave off if self-rising flour is used)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (leave off if self-rising flour is used)
  • confectioners sugar

Directions

    Mix oil, chocolate and sugar together in a saucepan.

    Blend in eggs, one at a time.

    Mix well by hand.

    Add vanilla.

    Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.

    This is all mixed by hand.

    Leave in saucepan and refrigerate for at least 5 hours or overnight and for several days.

    Heat oven at 350°.

    Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into sugar.

    Roll into balls.

    Place 2-inches apart on greased baking sheet.

    Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
