"Chocolate Dot Pudding"

  • 1 pkg. Dot chocolate squares
  • 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 8 Tbsp. water
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 pt. cream, whipped
  • 1 lb. box vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cook chocolate squares, sugar and water in double boiler until chocolate melts.

    Add egg yolks, which have been beaten lightly, and cook a few minutes longer; let cool.

    Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in the whipped cream to the beaten egg whites.

    Add this mixture to the cooled chocolate mixture.
