- 3 egg whites
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. chocolate bits
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until foamy. Add sugar gradually; beat until stiff peaks form.

2Fold in vanilla, chocolate bits and nuts.

3Put 1/2 teaspoon in mini paper cups, or drop onto greased cookie sheet.

4Bake in a 275° oven for 40 minutes.

5Leave in oven to cool.
