  • 1 cup boilng water
  • 12 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 14 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

    Combine boiling water with sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder and salt and cook over medium heat, Stirring constantly.

    When mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat and add vanilla and butter.

    Stir until smooth.

    Allow to cool slightly before serving.
