Chocolate Walnut Pie

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Karo light syrup
  • 4 (1 oz.) sq. melted semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    In a large bowl, stir together the eggs, syrup, chocolate, margarine, cornstarch, vanilla and salt.

    Stir in nuts.

    Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes. (Do not overbake; filling should be slightly less set in center.)
