Cinnamon Pecan Sticks

Ingredients
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1 egg, separated
Directions

1Cream together margarine, sugar and cinnamon.

2Add egg yolk, reserving white.

3Add 2 cups flour and a pinch of salt.

4Mix well. Dough will be quite stiff.

5Knead on waxed paper a few times, adding very little flour.

6Mash out dough on a greased or sprayed 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet.

7Spread out unbeaten egg white over dough.

8Hold pan upside down over sink and allow extra egg white to drip off.

9Mash pecans into batter.

10Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.

11Cut into bars while warm.
