- 1 yellow cake mix
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 5 c. flour
- 2 1/2 c. hot water
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- brown sugar
- cinnamon
- nuts (optional)
- 1 stick margarine
- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
Directions

1Mix dry cake mix, yeast and flour thoroughly.

2Add hot water and mix well.

3Let rise to double in size.

4Cut in half; roll to rectangular shape.

5Melt butter and spread over rolled dough. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts.

6Roll like a jelly roll; cut in 1 1/4-inch slices.

7Place on greased cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining dough.

8Cover and let rise to double in size.

9Mix together 1 stick melted butter, brown sugar and corn syrup.

10Spread over top of roll just prior to baking.

11Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

12Be sure cookie sheet has sides.
