  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. cake flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Grease and flour tube cake pan.

    Blend together oil, margarine and sugar.

    Beat in eggs one at a time.

    Add flour alternately with milk.

    Add salt and flavorings.

    Put in a cold oven to bake at 325° for 45 minutes, then increase temperature to 350° for 45 minutes.
